Sycamore Schools Quality Report is out.

It reports the school district performance on key 10 categories: academics, arts, commitment to improvement, digital learning, fiscal stewardship, parent and community involvement, staff leadership, student activities, student leadership and student services.

Highlights:

  • The Class of 2015 had 21 Natonal Merit Scholarship Finalists, more than any other high school in the Cincinnati area.
  • Sycamore graduates currently enrolled at 146 colleges & universities: including Yale University, John Hopkins University, Xavier University, The Ohio State University
  • The property tax rate paid by Sycamore residents of 32.03 mills is the third lowest of 25 schools in Hamilton County along with our neighboring districts, Mason and Kings. It is nearly 12 mills lower or 37% less than the average rate in this comparison group.
  • All four elementary schools (Blue Ash, Maple Dale, Montgomery, Symmes) made Niche Report’s Top 25 Elementary Schools in Ohio
  • Boys’ Tennis team won the OHSAA Division 1 State Team Championship (I had to include this!)
